The McPhee Method

At McPhee Physical Therapy, we help you stop managing pain and start mastering movement. We believe that being "pain-free" is just the baseline—our goal is to get you to your ceiling.

The PRI® Difference: Fixing the Blueprint

Traditional therapy often treats the site of pain without looking at the system that caused it. We utilize the advanced science of the Postural Restoration Institute® (PRI) to identify and correct the hidden imbalances and neurological patterns that hold you back. By realigning your body’s "chassis," we ensure that every movement you make is efficient and powerful.

No more temporary fixes. Just a stronger, more resilient body built on a foundation of science.

The Reset

We start by identifying your body's unique compensations. Using PRI science, we reset your neurological patterns and get you out of pain.

Specialized Physiotherapy & PRI®

The Rebuild

Once aligned, we build. Our trainers work directly with your PT to design a strength program that respects your clinical history while pushing your limits.

Physio-Led Training.

Longevity & Optimization.

The Recover

Wellness is a lifestyle. We provide the ongoing maintenance and recovery tools needed to keep you at the top of your game, for good.

Why our "All-in-One" model works:

No Communication Gaps: Your trainer and your therapist are in the same room, talking about your progress.

Scientific Continuity: We use the same PRI principles in the gym that we use on the treatment table.

Efficiency: Save time and money by getting your clinical care and your fitness training in one location.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Your initial appointment is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation. Malcolm will discuss your medical history, perform a physical assessment of your movement and strength, and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the wayIn many cases, you can start physical therapy without a physician’s referral (Direct Access). However, some insurance providers still require a referral for reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider or contacting our office, and we can help you clarify your specific requirements.

  • Standard follow-up sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes. The frequency of your visits depends on your specific condition and recovery goals—some clients visit once a week, while others may require two or three sessions during the intensive phase of recovery.

  • Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. If we are treating a specific area (like a knee or shoulder), it is helpful to wear clothing that allows Malcolm to easily access that area (e.g., shorts for a knee injury).

  • We work with a variety of insurance providers. Please have your insurance information ready when you call to book, and our team will provide a complimentary benefits check to let you know exactly what your coverage looks like before you arrive.
